• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Supply of Vehicles. 1. The Lao People-s Democratic Republic has received financing from the Asian Development Bank toward the cost of the Sustainable Rural Infrastructure and Watershed Management Sector Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. 2. The Department of Irrigation (the “Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for supply of 1 Four-wheel drive SUV (sport utility vehicle) and 15 Four-wheel drive double cab pick-up trucks (the “Goods”) with delivery period of 60 days. 3. Open Competitive Bidding (National Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB-s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. 4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications, should participate in the bidding: • Contractual Experience: Successful completion as main supplier within the last three (3) years of at least three (3) contracts each valued at US$600,000 with nature and complexity similar to the scope of supply described in Section 7 (Schedule of Requirements). • The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that the Goods it offers has original spare parts and after sales service from authorized dealers/service centers in Vientiane Capital. • The Bidder shall not have a record of non-performance in the past two (2) years before the bid is submitted. The qualification criteria are more completely described in the Bidding Documents. 5.
