Description:
Name of Service: National Consultant Develop action agenda based on Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation (GPEDC) findings, and prepare Vientiane Declaration and Vientiane Declaration Country Action Plan (2025 2035)Country: Laos Period of assignment/services: 34 workingdays. Description of the Assignment: As the VDCAP, 2016 2025 period comes to an end, an opportunity exists to review the results of the GPEDC and the Government's assessment of VDCAP implementation to inform the new VD for the period 2025-2035. This is important given that the Tenth NationalSocio-Economic Development Plan (10th NSEDP) and accompanying financing strategy are being shaped in parallel ahead of the High-Level Round Table Meeting planned for the end of 2025. This is particularly critical given the need for Lao PDR to strengthen its aid coordination and aid effectivenesscapacity in light of the upcoming graduation from LDC status and potential consequences that this may have on aid flows to Lao PDR while factoring the very dynamic global aid landscape that we have.The primary objective of this consultancy is to develop the action agenda document based on reflectionswith key stakeholders and the development and finalization of the VDCAP 2026-2035 which will be adopted in the High Level Round Table Meeting at the end of 2025.Scope of WorkUnder the overall guidance of the National Project Director and direct supervision of the Project Manager, and in close coordinationwith ...
