Country: Laos Description of the Assignment: With guidance from the Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and UNDP, the consultant is expected to deliver the following: I. Capacity Needs Assessment. Conduct an assessment of training needsamong targeted stakeholders . Identify key knowledge gaps in agrochemical risk management and available sustainable alternatives.. Develop a detailed plan for capacity-building interventions to target stakeholders. II. Training Development. Design anorganized training curriculum addressing agrochemical use risks, create awareness alternative practices, good agricultural practices certification processes and financing options.. Develop a monitoring and evaluation system to measure the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices,including Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Organic Agriculture (OA)…etc. . Develop training manuals, visual aids, and learning tools.. Customize materials for different stakeholder groups. III. Training Delivery and Facilitation.
