Expression of Interest are invited for Market Assessment to Develop Green Finance in Lao PDR International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group (WBG), is an international organization whose mission is to promote sustainable private sector investment in developing countries, helping to reduce poverty and improve peoples lives. IFC is seeking consulting firms (the consultant) who will work under the guidance of the IFCs task team and in coordination with key stakeholders to produce a market assessment report to advance green finance in Lao PDR. B. Objectives/Purpose of Assignment IFC is seeking individuals and/or consulting firms (the consultant) who will work under the guidance of the IFCs task team and in coordination with key stakeholders to produce a market assessment report to advance green finance in Lao PDR. The overall objectives of the assignment are: i.to assess the readiness of the current regulatory and institutional framework for green finance; and ii.to identify policy actions and reforms for institutions that will unlock the green financing market for the country and will lead to private sector investment in green finance within critical sectors through the financial institutions in Lao PDR. A description of the deliverables detailed per component; The consultants detailed relevant references; The CVs of the proposed consultants/experts detailing their areas of expertise, personal references and assigned tasks in the Project; A detailed workplan including person-days per consultant/expert and per task; A financial offer with a breakdown of fees (including cost per person-day/consultant) and expenses (the offer will be inclusive of all expenses). Subject to travel restrictions, the Consultant is also expected to participate in a mission/visit to Laos to meet with relevant stakeholders, conduct interviews or discussions with the authorities, regulator, select market participants, and other relevant institutions. Should travel restrictions prevent the Consultant from travelling to Laos, meetings shall be conducted virtually.
