Description:
Tenders are invited for Legal Consultant - Airport PPP The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is in discussions with the Government of the People's Democratic Republic of Lao (GoL) through the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) to assist in its efforts to mobilize the private sector via a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for the upgrade; expansion; and operations and maintenance of the Luang Prabang Airport through a transparent and competitive bidding process (the “Project”). To support the Project; IFC seeks to hire a legal consultancy firm to provide IFC with advice on legal aspects related to due diligence and transaction structuring and implementation of the Project; including (i) legal due diligence of the Project; (ii) preparation of tender documents; and (iii) preparation of the project agreement(s) and other transaction documents . The firm will be expected to bring a legal firm that has experience in matters of Lao Law as a partner for this assignment.
