Expression of Interest are invited for E&S Consultant - Airport PPP. ISSUE DATE AND TIME: Mar 08,2024 05:44 CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Mar 18,2024 22:59 The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is in discussions with the Government of the People's Democratic Republic of Lao (GoL) through the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) to assist in its efforts to mobilize the private sector via a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for the upgrade; expansion; and operations and maintenance of the Luang Prabang Airport through a transparent and competitive bidding process (the “Project”). To support the implementation of the Project; IFC seeks to hire an environmental and social (E&S) firm to support IFC and to provide IFC with advice on the E&S aspects related to due diligence and transaction structuring and implementation of the Project; including (i) advising on making the Project consistent with the IFC Performance Standards and Lao Law; (ii) E&S due diligence; (iii) development of E&S inputs to the PPP agreements and bidding documents; and (iv) assisting with transaction structuring. The World Bank Group reserves the right to publicly disclose contract award information, including but not limited to, name of company receiving the award, brief description of services, and contract award amount, for any contract award valued over US$250,000. Offeror's proposal and contractual documents will remain confidential and therefore not subject to disclosure.
