- BACKGROUND WHO has been providing technical support to the government in strengthening capacity to implement preventive and control measures and response to COVID-19 pandemics and other communicable disease in Lao PDR in the collaboration and coordination with other development and government partners. WHO, Lao PDR is looking for an organization/company that is technically capable and has a good experience to perform mentioned tasks in selected health care facilities. Contractor of this work (APW holder) is to be selected by bidding. Bidding is open for development partners (International Non-governmental organizations, company have an interest and capacity to handle this construction work within short period of time.PURPOSE/SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE OF THE ACTIVITYThe selected organization or company contactor (APW holder) will work under the guidance of WHO, the technical unit in close collaboration with the Provincial Health Department, DHHP, MoH to implement infrastructure development project in selected hospitals to ensure the sound health care waste management under the Safe Clean Green and Climate Resilient Health Care Facility Initiative.Please see attached RFP documents for refer...
